Examples of recent events held include themed socials, Quasar, pizza quiz nights and the end of year summer ball! We can now confirm that the first social of this year will be a white T-shirt social on Thursday 4th October. Starting in Bar One at 7:30 we will move on to Lava Lounge, Soyo (where we'll be given brand new discount cards for drinks/offers), Basement and finally Plug! To those of you with tickets, bring marker pens and witty science jokes to write on each other's t-shirts. We look forward to seeing you all there!
'Diversity of Life' Social

MBBers took to West Street in an array of costumes for this social in aid of Prof Wainwright's lectures. Curious onlookers were left mystified by the theme as aliens, red rain, Manuka honey bees and Scrapies sheep, amongst others, made it from Bar One to Plug in style.
MBB End of Year Ball

The 2012 ball was held in the Sheffield City Hall Ballroom and turned out to be a resounding success! Guests donned their tuxedos/ballgowns for the black tie event and were treated to a red carpet entrance, three course meal and DJ, with a professional photographer present to capture the best moments. Attended by students from all years, this was the perfect send off for MBB leavers and also paid tribute to the previous committee for all their hard work!
