Opportunities in MBB

MBB sporting activities are a great way of meeting new people in the department, across all three years of study. This year we hope to continue with regular netball training and if enough interest is shown, training and matches can be organised for other sports as well.

Get involved, try a new sport and get to know more people on your course. If you have any questions or would like to introduce a new sport to MBB, do not hesitate to email the society or Catherine Heath (Female Sport Sec).

Inter-mural football league

Football trials have now taken place at Ponderosa and there was a much improved turnout of 25 trying out for this year's team. Intermural league matches will be starting from next week and we are expecting some strong showings in the coming season.

For any questions regarding football or suggesions for new sports, feel free to get in contact with Brian Mcmonagle (Male Sport Sec). We will keep you updated with the teams performances over the course of the year.

Inter-mural hockey mixed league

MBBsoc has now been offered a slot to play inter-mural hockey! It's a mixed 6-a-side league so everyone can get involved. We will be meeting on a weekly basis, every Thursday at 5pm. If you are interested in taking part or would like to know more then email Catherine for details.
