White t-shirt social

Our first social of the year was a huge success with a fantastic turnout from MBBers! Our 100 t-shirts sold out days before the event even started and ticket sales were also impressive. After meeting in Bar One, we unexpectedly moved on to Players (after Lava Lounge decided they wouldn't be open for our arrival), followed by Soyo, Basement and Plug.

Freshers made sure they got to know each other firsthand and there was some witty banter being passed around all night on those white t-shirts. Personal favourites include 'I am DNA helicase- I like to unzip your genes' and 'I like to Pri-ion freshers'. All in all everyone enjoyed the night and despite the late finish, MBBers were mostly to be seen in 9am labs and lectures the next day. Just to show we are hardcore that way! Also, a special mention should go out to the guy in the red trousers, whose breakdancing routine in Basement caught the attention of all present and has already given him cult status!
